Overview Nike Form is a scientific running analysis experience designed for launch at global retail. I joined the project at a critical moment—high pressure, no roadmap, and no visuals in place. I led the end-to-end design, aligning cross-functional teams around a unified goal: to serve everyday runners, especially women and newer athletes who had been previously overlooked. Through research, experience strategy, and design across mobile, iPad, and physical touchpoints, I transformed Form into an inclusive, intuitive, and scalable service.
Research to Center Nike's Biggest Opportunity: The Everyday Runner Rather than rushing forward, I worked with the team to take a strategic step back. We conducted field research with a diverse set of runners, from curious beginners to experienced athletes. Their feedback revealed an opportunity—and a gap: Form had the potential to democratize running science, but only if we designed for those previously left behind. Scaling Design Across Innovation I pushed the Podium design system into uncharted territory—elevating it beyond commercial polish to serve the scientific and altruistic core of Form. I built a bold visual language rooted in precision: a grid system that commanded clarity, components that simplified complexity, and type, color, and shape choices that evoked trust and momentum. Every detail was designed to empower action, not sell a product. The result was a system that felt elevated, human, and unapologetically focused on helping athletes—especially those long ignored—understand and own their performance.
